From ‘no expense spared’ to ‘we’re on a tight budget’ we can provide our brides with an excellent wedding flowers service. All wedding flowers are designed and created for each individual bride after personal consultations with our experienced and fully qualified staff. From the most extravagant and flamboyant of designs to more simple and elegant creations – after many years of experience - our staff can cater for every bride’s dream wedding theme.

About 80% of our weddings are now booked through recommendation and the rest are usually booked after brides seeing us at wedding fairs or by simply passing our excellent wedding window displays (seasonal).

The following information is intended to assist you in making your decisions and by using it you are under no obligation to make use our services.Please remember when you are choosing your flowers that you are going to be putting them in front of probably the most expensive personal item you will buy for your wedding – your dress!

Your flowers will be the first thing that you will see on most of your wedding photographs which will be part of your memories for years to come.

Most brides when first enquiring about our wedding flowers want to know about the most important thing – the cost. As each bridal bouquet is individually designed and made for each bride it is very difficult to produce a general price list. The price of each bouquet will depend on a number of things :-
 

The Time Of Year

The availability of certain flowers will depend on the time of the year. Flowers that are in season are readily available from our Dutch suppliers and therefore will be at a reasonable and seasonal cost. Flowers that are out of season may still be available to us although they will be at a higher cost than they would be normally.

The Style and Size of the Bouquet

As you will probably have noticed when you have been browsing through bridal magazines there are many different styles of wedding bouquets. You may choose an informal, natural looking hand tied bouquet, a more up to date contemporary modern design or a more traditional shower bouquet. As you will appreciate different styles of bouquets will require different flowers, a different amount of design work and depending on the bride and style of wedding dress will always differ in size proportions.

All varieties of flowers come at different prices. Your choice of flowers will probably have the most influence on the overall cost.

 

Consultations

Our fully qualified staff have over 40 years of experience and expertise to help you choose your perfect wedding flowers which will go towards making your day a long lasting and beautiful memory.

First Consultation

At the first appointment our staff will talk through any ideas you may already have about your flowers. They will advise you on the styles, colours and sizes of your main bouquets. They will also help you with the availability, suitability and overall themes of your wedding flowers. They will help you decide on flowers for your guests, venue and reception and can organise thank you bouquets for after the event.

After your first visit we will put together a rough, estimated costing of your flowers. (Obviously this price can be altered at any time depending on final decisions.) You can then decide whether or not you would like to go ahead and use our services.

At this point you will need to pay a non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of £50.00 in order to secure your date. (Please note that it is our policy to normally only take one wedding per date.)

We will then make an appointment for you to come for your second consultation.

Second Consultation

On your second visit we will look at the finer design elements of your choices. We will need to confirm numbers of guests that require flowers and finalise the choices for the Mums flowers (colours and design work etc). The delivery and set up of venue and/or reception flowers will be discussed and delivery arrangements for all your flowers will be made.

This will then give us the opportunity to give you a more exact costing for your flowers.

You can call and make an appointment to come and see us at any time before your wedding if you need to know that everything is progressing as it should be or if you change your mind about anything that you have decided upon – we fully understand that a bride to be can be nervous and anxious when making decisions. Your choices can be altered at any time but will need to be fully finalised no less that 2 weeks before your wedding date. After that your wedding flowers will have been ordered from Holland and can no longer be changed.

Your total bill will need to be paid no later than 2 weeks before your wedding date if paying by cheque or the week before if paying by cash or card.

Please note that we operate a wedding payment scheme and you can come in and pay money towards your wedding at any time.
